About the role
Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Scheduling, as the Specialist Mine Scheduling you will be engaged in providing clear direction to the execution teams through mine designs and schedules for the 0 to 12 week time frame for the truck & shovel fleets. Using your already solid mine planning skills and experience in this exciting and challenging short-term mine planning role to develop effective working relationships with the operational teams in order to ensure the efficient execution of your plans and schedules.

This is a Monday to Friday, 9 day fortnight position, however flexible work arrangements are on offer.
In this role you will:
Prepare Truck & Shovel designs;
Communicate the designs to Production Coordinators and Operations;
Participate in the investigation of reported events for Production Planning;
Identify and implement Production Planning improvement initiatives;
Build cross-functional relationship with the Operational sub-functions and interact extensively with the Planning sub-functions.
